Ureki is a summer destination. The beach season runs from June to September, but the experience varies significantly by month.
JUNE — EARLY SEASON
Weather: warm (22–26°C air temperature)
Sea temperature: 19–21°C — refreshing, not cold
Crowds: low to moderate
Prices: lower than peak season
Verdict: excellent for those who want the beach without the crowds. Some smaller facilities may not have opened yet.
JULY — PEAK SEASON
Weather: hot (28–34°C)
Sea temperature: 23–25°C — warm and comfortable
Crowds: high, especially on weekends
Prices: peak season rates
Verdict: the classic beach month. Maximum energy, everything open, warm water. Book well in advance.
AUGUST — PEAK SEASON
Weather: hot (28–33°C), occasional afternoon thunderstorms
Sea temperature: 24–26°C — warmest of the year
Crowds: highest of the year
Prices: highest of the year
Verdict: warmest water but the busiest. Late August sees slightly fewer visitors as schools return.
SEPTEMBER — LATE SEASON
Weather: warm and pleasant (22–28°C), less humid than August
Sea temperature: 22–24°C — still very comfortable for swimming
Crowds: low
Prices: below peak season
Verdict: many regulars consider September the best month. The weather is still warm, the sea swimmable, and the beach spacious and calm. Sunsets in September are spectacular.
OCTOBER AND BEYOND
The season ends in October. Sea temperature drops and accommodation begins to close. Ureki is not a year-round destination.
WHEN HOTEL NEPTUN IS OPEN
We operate from May through October. We recommend June and September for the best balance of weather, sea temperature, and a relaxed atmosphere. For families tied to school calendars, the last two weeks of June and first two weeks of September are ideal.
